…in Hampshire, Norfolk and Somerset

I feel very flattered that three book clubs have chosen my book as their book of the month – and those are just the ones that I know about! The first was a friend’s book club in Arlesford in Hampshire, which I knew about but wasn’t actually involved in. Then I was asked by my brother-in-law’s friend, Juliette Atkinson, if I’d join them for their online book club. They set up the club on Zoom during the COVID lockdowns and it’s stayed that way ever since. I had a fun evening with some excellent questions, especially as two of their members are actually from Vienna where much of my book is based.

Most recently, my friend Jo Hudson invited me to join her book group at Vallis Farm, just outside Frome in Somerset, where I live. Yet again, we had a really good conversation and, as it was face-to-face this time, we also had a delicious lunch! Hopefully, I answered everyone’s questions. At the end of lunch, they invited me to join their book club. Next month’s book is Brave New World by Aldous Huxley…rather different from mine!
